Who We Serve

Built for the complicated kind of normal.

If your tax situation feels too complicated for off-the-shelf software, you're probably exactly who we serve best.

Individuals & families

W-2 households, retirees, and families who want their taxes done right by a real human — with year-round access and IRS support built in.

Side hustles & landlords

Schedule C earners, rental property owners, and 1099 contractors who need quarterly estimates handled and a tax pro who actually knows their situation.

Small businesses

Solo entrepreneurs and small businesses needing monthly bookkeeping, clean books, quarterly reviews, and year-end tax planning.

S-Corps & growing companies

Established small businesses with payroll, S-Corp elections, and real strategic decisions to make. Full-service advisory.

Jerry Funston, EA

Thirty years of pastoral work, then an Enrolled Agent credential and a tax practice. The two careers aren't as different as they sound — both require listening hard, telling the truth, and walking with people through complicated seasons.

Particular specialty in clergy taxes (which are genuinely weird, and which we serve at a special Ministry Rate), S-Corp setup for solo founders, IRS representation, and the financial side of life transitions — divorce, retirement, inheritance, starting something new.

How It Works

A monthly subscription, not a once-a-year scramble.

Most of our clients work with us through a monthly subscription built around two things: compliance — your return filed correctly, IRS handled if anything comes up — and advisory — someone who knows your situation, asks the right questions, and keeps next year from being a surprise.

The advisory side is what most tax clients have never had. A call in October about a bonus. A capital-gains conversation before December 31. A quarterly check-in that catches the thing the software would have missed in April. That's the point of the subscription.

Four plans, founding member rates available for the first cohort. We also handle one-off work by the job for clients who just need a single thing solved. Discovery call is free either way.

What people say.

Jerry knows what he's doing — honest and straightforward. He was a great help to us this tax season and gave us great advice for filing next year.

Finally a tax pro who actually understood clergy taxes without me having to explain them. That alone was worth the subscription.
